Recruitment process

We really want to get to know you and at the same time we want you to have a chance to to get to know us and to feel the unique atmosphere of Ikano.

Before your interview, we encourage you to:

  • Read about Ikano and learn about our values to see what kind of employer we are.
  • Think about why you want to join us.
  • Analyze your tasks and responsibilities you will be able to show off during the interview,
  • Think about what you want to ask us. The meeting with us is also an opportunity for you to make sure Ikano is the right choice,
  • Be punctual. If you know you might be late, please let us know.
  • Finally, on a technical note: if you are participating in an online meeting check the connection possibilities beforehand and make sure you have a quiet place for the interview.

Recruitment process

  1. Analysis of applications – each application that we receive is opened and analysed by the recruiter responsible for a specific position.
  2. Telephone interview – we will ask you a few preliminary questions and invite you to a meeting.
  3. Interview – we will ask you about your work experience and your values. You will meet of our HR representative and your future direct superior. We want to get to know you!
  4. Tests – some positions require specific skills or knowledge, which we check by means of tests or tasks to be completed.
  5. Competency test confirming the level of English language skills – we work in an international environment and therefore we require knowledge of English language (at the level depending on the position). The test is performed for us by an external language company.
  6. Decision – we will contact you by phone and give you an offer. If it is interesting for you – welcome to Ikano.

Onboarding

We want you to stay with us for a long time, so we take care of your comfort from the first day.

Our onboarding process

  1. You will start your first day by signing a contract, and then we will invite you for an introductory training, where you will learn about Ikano’s history and strategy, our values, personnel policy, remuneration, bonus principles and opportunities for competence development.
  2. Safety is a very important issue for us, so the next stage is safety training.
  3. Your immediate supervisor is responsible for your onboarding. He/she may also appoint someone from your new department to accompany you at all stages. This is usually an experienced employee with strong technical skills and with the ability to transfer knowledge.
